Two Cousins Team Provides Amazing Service in a Super Clean Restaurant
Two Cousins Pizza in Paradise is conveniently located just outside of Lancaster, PA city limits near the Best Western Plus Paul Revere Inn that my family was staying at. When I saw there was such a pizzeria just a short distance away to try, I rushed over to give it a try.
My first impressions of the pizzeria were that it is impeccably clean, and that the people were super friendly. As I made the short walk from the door to the counter, I was greeted by 3 different staff members including the person working the counter. After I placed my order for 2 slices of cheese pizza, I was greeted by 2 more people who had been working in the kitchen – talk about a welcoming experience!
Whenever I order a slice of pizza from a slice case, it’s always my hope that it receives a thorough reheat for a couple of reasons. First, it crisps up the bottom so nicely when a slice is placed back in the oven for the second time, and second – hot pizza just tastes better! In fact, “peak pizza” for me is a fresh pie taken out of the oven to cool on a bakers rack (for moisture to escape), then placed back in the oven after about a 5 minute rest. For me, this is the best way to eat a fresh slice, and Two Cousins did deliver a thorough reheat.
Pizza Review
The pizza was a rock solid slice that joins the “Party Pleaser” category that I like to reference. A party pleaser is a pizza that if you brought to a party, it would make just about everyone happy. This had a chewy, foldable crust with some slight crispiness, a smooth sauce with neutral flavors, and a mozzarella cheese that held it all together. A quality slice served by quality people in a super clean establishment. I definitely enjoyed the visit and will stop by again next time I’m in town!
