State Street Grill in Clarks Summit is known for their upscale casual atmosphere and unique menu. Whether you stop by for a few drinks in their beautiful outdoor dining area or head inside to eat it’s a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. My wife and I stopped by for a nice dinner and noticed they offered gluten free personal pizzas.
We chose to order the margherita pizza which featured cheese, fresh sliced tomatoes, and pesto drizzle. It was approximately a 10” pizza with a thin and crispy crust. The crust had some light flavor and a modest crisp to it. We both thought we detected a hint of cauliflower flavor in the profile. The cheese was very good while the fresh and meaty tomatoes provided great flavor and texture. The pesto added a nice contrast and a punch of basil.

Overall this was a solid gluten free pizza. Plenty of flavor and interesting enough to want to reach for another slice. For those looking for a GF pizza option this is a safe bet to enjoy!
