If you’re a pizza lover looking for a unique frozen pizza experience, Sally Slices Corleone Style frozen pizza is a must-try! Sally Slices, the social media sensation famous for greeting customers from “Just Down the Street” despite being miles away, has brought his pizza mastery to the frozen food aisle. Since I haven’t had the chance to visit his family’s pizzeria in Hamilton Square, NJ, ordering the frozen pizza shipped to my doorstep was the next best thing.
The “Corleone” Style pizza is a standout at Marcello’s Pizza Grill in Hamilton Square. This patented style doesn’t fit neatly into one pizza classification. My first impression was that it had some Detroit Style pizza vibes with a touch of Grandma Pizza. The caramelized cheese reaching the edge of the pan and the sauce on top are hallmarks of a Detroit Style Pizza, but the Corleone has its own unique twist.
When it comes to frozen pizza, expectations can vary, but given the social media buzz around Sally Slices’ Corleone, I was anticipating great things.

Preparation and Cooking
Preparing the pizza was straightforward. Preheat your oven to 450°F, take the pizza directly out of the freezer, and place it in the included pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes. I baked mine for about 18 minutes, giving it an extra five minutes on a baking steel, and the results were fantastic.
Taste and Texture
The crust was dense with a delightful crispiness on the bottom and crunchy edges. The cheese was mild, reminiscent of mozzarella, and the sauce had a thin consistency with a nice texture. The tangy and punchy flavor of the sauce, combined with the sharp Romano and Parmesan cheese and Italian spices on top, made for a delicious bite.
Overall Impression
Overall, this pizza is simply delicious. For a frozen pizza, Sally Slices’ Corleone exceeds expectations. It’s important to note that this isn’t your typical $10 frozen pizza from the supermarket. The high cost of packaging (styrofoam cooler, box, dry ice, aluminum pan) and shipping makes it a bit of a splurge, but it’s worth it for the experience.
This pizza offers a chance to experience what all the Sally Slices hype is about, no matter where you are in the contiguous 48 United States. In my opinion, it lives up to the hype. It’s a unique pizza that feels both familiar and new. Of course, the fresh, in-person version is bound to be even better, so this review has only increased my motivation to visit Sally Slices in person to try the Corleone straight out of the oven.
