Kings Pizza Berwick

Kings Pizza Berwick is a great spot on West Front Street for a quick slice of pizza or a full sit down meal. I stopped in for a fast lunch and grabbed two slices on the go. The staff was super nice and the service was speedy. I enjoyed the generously-sized slices and reasonable prices.

I ordered a plain cheese slice and a hot wing slice. Both were made on an XL soft and tender New York Style Crust with a slightly crispy edge. Kings is using a quality cheese that is slightly salty and very satisfying. The sauce was neutral (not too sweet and not too acidic) and lightly seasoned.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza Review

Next, the buffalo chicken slice featured some diced (non-breaded) chicken. The chicken had a unique texture that appeared to be either deep fried or cooked on a flat top with oil to give it a lightly fried texture and flavor. A creamy buffalo sauce was drizzled over the top of the chicken and cheese which had a pleasant flavor and tang. I’d call it a comfortable mild sauce that wasn’t too spicy.

Overall, Kings Pizza Berwick was a great stop for a quick bite. I enjoyed my brief stay and won’t hesitate to return. The pizza definitely falls into my “Party Pleaser” category because most people are sure to enjoy it!
