NEPA Pizza Madness is BACK — And Better Than Ever!

After a five-year hiatus, the moment NEPA pizza lovers have been waiting for is finally here—NEPA Pizza Madness is BACK!

From 2014 through 2020, NEPA Pizza Madness brought our community together in the name of friendly competition, showcasing 64 local pizzerias in a bracket-style tournament that generated hundreds of thousands of votes, sparked massive online buzz, and received attention from news outlets, TV stations, and social media across the region. It was fun, fast-paced, and full of local pride.

But while the original bracket format was wildly successful, it wasn’t perfect. As the competition grew, so did the intensity—and not always in the best way. What started as a celebration of great pizza sometimes turned overly competitive, even negative. So in 2020, I decided it was time to take a break, reflect, and figure out how to make it even better.

Fast forward to today: the wait is over. The buzz is real. The madness is back. But this time, it’s reimagined.

NEPA Pizza Madness is returning with a fresh new format designed to keep things fun, positive, and all about showcasing the incredible variety of pizza we have here in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Stay tuned to NEPApizzareview.com and our social channels for more details on the new format, how to nominate your favorites, and how to vote in this all-new pizza showdown.
